Uraniumware is all about uranium glass.
My name is Rick Blythe, and I am the owner of this website. I write most, but not all, of the content here. I am not an expert in Uranium Glass. It is a relatively new hobby to me, and as I learn all of the interesting facets of this glass, I like to write things down so others may also pick up new information they didn’t have.

I also like to offer buying guides, information on rings and jewelry made with uranium glass, safety notes (radiation is generally very low and considered negligible for display), and advice for beginners or hobbyists building a collection, you know, things I’ve learned along the way.
Uraniumware is a website dedicated to the collectible world of “uranium glass” — decorative or vintage glassware that contains trace amounts of uranium oxide and glows under ultraviolet light. I explain the history of uranium glass, how to identify authentic pieces using UV light or a Geiger counter, and what to look out for when collecting (e.g., color, patterns, manufacturer marks, signs of age).
